Steve Tousley founded Tousley Financial Benefits in Minneapolis with a goal of offering high-value services with a personal touch. His skill in business development and service resulted in a customer roster of more than 170 small businesses. Seeing the opportunity to offer even more resources and products, Steve merged Tousley with Bearence in 2008.

Tousley’s focus on independent research and evaluation of HSAs, HRAs, FSAs and 105 plans, for example, built its reputation for reliable and comprehensive benefits consulting. Helping customers navigate through the many changes in health care benefits over the years, Tousley emphasized strategies to keep health plans cost effective and support the bottom line of small businesses. 

Steve also helped found the Professional Resource Group. This consulting group of 12 brokers in Minnesota pooled their resources to offer negotiated discounts, complimentary services, tools, and responsive advice. 

As part of Bearence Management Group, Steve Tousley and his experienced team continue a legacy of helping businesses survive and thrive with forward-thinking resources — including legal advice and COBRA administration.
